So I saw Moon again tonight and from the theater I was in I could hear dogs barking so I was going to say that the dogs barking in the background heightened the dramatic intensity.  Then I did a google image search for “moon dog” and found this beautiful illustration on this guy’s blog that sums up my movie going experience quite nicely.
